Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Once you switch to Prismacolor, you won't want anything else. This is what my daughter and her art teacher both have said. And her teacher was right. But these are amazing quality pencils. The tin case is good quality as well to keep your investment organized.
My only complaint with this set is that there aren't enough colours. Woe is me! for I cannot afford the 132 pencil set! /woeAnyway, the pencils are great. The colour is smooth and rich. I've had a few prismacolours in the past, so I knew about the breakage problem with the leads, but I haven't had any problem with mine so far /crosses fingers. Here's a list of colours included: Dark green, olive green, grass green, apple green, "zeste de lime" (the english version of this colour is missing half it's letters), chartreuse, spring green, true green, light aqua, aquamarie, light cerulean blue, true blue, peacock blue, ultramarine, indigo blue, violet blue, violet (which I think of as royal purple), parma violet, lilac, mulberry, process red, magenta, carmine red, pink, light peach, peach, blush pink, poppy red, crimson red, pale vermillion, orange, yellowed orange, spanish orange, goldenrod, yellow ochre, cream, ginger root, light umber, burnt ochre, sienna brown, tuscan red, dark brown, dark umber, black, metallic gold, metallic silver, and white.Note that there are no greys. That is the only thing sadly lacking from these pencils though. Aside from, you know, all 132 colours... woe!
My drawing instructor recommended only this brand and style of colored pencils for our rigorous beginning drawing class. I looked at so many stores in my area and the prices on are SO much better. It took only 2 days to deliver right to my front door. I couldn't be happier!! :)
Io amo queste matite!
