Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
This product is amazing! The pieces are nice and smooth. The colors are more muted than bright which I actually prefer for our neutral playroom. It has an extra = sign piece not shown on the box.
I bought this a few months ago and I love this set. I was looking for something that would engage my 4.5yo with numbers and math, and give her the building blocks of equations, and this totally does that. She asks to do math! I especially liked that this set had wooden numbers cut out in the shapes of the numbers (as opposed to other sets where the numbers are printed on all square or rectangular blocks) because weve been able to use the numbers to make imprints in sensory materials like sand or flour. And I think being able to feel the outline of the number reinforces how to draw it. Shes great at numbers and I think this helps solidify those concepts. Id definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone! Also, note that mine came with an equal sign that I didnt see pictured and doesnt have a place in the tray, but which I REALLY appreciated for those equations.
Its good quality for the price. The paint is water based doesnt seem to peel off easily. I put away little plastic circles for counting and the shapes for now so that he will have three different sets to play with. It allows creative learning through playing. Also, i really liked how it has dots that shows the quantity of the numbers on the base of the figures.
Beautiful and well thought out design. This was put to use right away.
Worth every penny. Love this board. Be careful if you have a young toddler like us, at first our 17 month old was wanting to put the rings in her mouth but after a few days of no shes gotten better we just dont leave her unattended with it. We will use this for years from counting to addition and subtraction and colors and shapes and colors other than the primary. Its fun to sort and it looks pretty on our shelf. We want to buy this for all our friends with kids now ;)
