DIY - Make A Wind Chime Kit

I bought this to do with my very creative granddaughter. I was surprised at how small the parts were. I'd say the pottery cups were about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and about an inch tall. But it was a great easy project. The instructions were clear and the paints are very vibrant in color. Great for promoting creative design, as it's totally up to the young craftsman, whether they like frogs, lady bugs, or rainbows! It was fun, easily done in an hour or two.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is 7 years old and she absolutely loved it it was one of the smaller of the birthday presents that I gave her and the least expensive but it was her favorite.

This is a super cute "little" wind chime set. The set is extremely small, like other reviewers have stated. But otherwise a very affordable wind chime set. Bought for gifts for the grandparents from grandchildren and I am happy with it. We did buy some extra paint colors and they are limited paint colors. They do give you a mixing guide but these are for my 3 year old to paint so just got him paints to make it easier. Overall happy with the kit.

This was a great project to do with my 7 yr old nephew I was babysitting for several days. It takes a few hours to allow the paint to dry before assembling. There were helpful instructions with diagrams. Plenty of paint and good paint brush included. I wasnt sure it would sound pretty but, for a kids craft it actually sounded pretty good once assembled. Very well pleased with this kit and my nephew loved making this!

Personally the mere simplicity of the project was awesome. I watched as the children worked painting and making colors. They enjoyed the easy fun painting and the finished wind chimes were just beautiful. Each child will be gifting their parents with their new handmade wind chimes. They sound amazing as well. I would encourage children to do this. Happy Friday!
