Description
This personal robot uses advanced technology and 10 motors for realistic arm, hands and head movement, and motorized feet so it can move forward and backward. Thanks to its Learned Intelligent Movement (LIM) technology, you can simply move its arms and head or speak to it and it records what you’re doing and repeats it back to you!
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
This was a gift to my 10 year old son. He assembled it by himself with some help from his dad. He was ecstatic when everything was done. Hes still having fun asking him to dance and crack a joke.
Took 7.5 hours to build, but worth it!! He is SO cool! He does so many different things, he learns and remembers things. The list goes on! No disappointments!
I like the finished product. I dislike having to count up the number of holes in a piece in order to connect the next piece. There are also instructions to fit screws at point A which are only required to be fitted at point B.I have found similar problems with Meccano instructions assembling MAX and Meccasaur. However, overall, a most enjoyable experience is to be had in assembly.Alfie, does all that is expected of him.
My son who is 10 loved it! He built it entirely on his own in a total of 10 hours (in a span of 3 days). The robot works fine and performs MANY commands. We D/L the app and he's enjoyed using that, too. Disclaimer: my son is gifted in robotics, coding, and building in general. This comes super easily for him and he enjoys these type of projects.
Fun to build with kids.
