Description

Theet includes the components required to assemble four construction vehicles, a crane, and a wind turbine as well as other construction-scene accessories and figures to help students learn about machines and their functions. Integrated screws on the blocks click into place with the included screwdrivers, providing hands-on experience with tools and assembly. The set comes with an activity pack that includes building-inspiration cards and a list of problem-solving tasks. Blocks are twice as large as standard bricks to better accommodate preschool-age children. The set supports a group of four students, ages three years and older, and comes in a plastic storage container with a transparent lid.

Hand DOWN this is the BEST DUPLO set EVER

Hand DOWN this is the BEST DUPLO set EVER!!! My son is OBSESSED with the Caterpillar tracks. There isn't a build set-by-step guide. However, it is simple to build it by looking at the pictures. He will play with this for several long turns using people in the Duplo Community People Set. There are repeats of the people in this set and the people set. Kids don't care though and if this is for a classroom or multiple children, it's great news. Less to fight over.

Last available set with the TOOLO pieces. These are the most versatile DUPLO pieces.

This the only set, LEGO still sells, that has the TOOLO pieces. The embedded screws make structures hold together much better, and allow connections in multiple directions.The functional pieces (such as hinges and turntables) are much more versatile than the few other DUPLO options.The only downside might be that by the time the child is old enough to make the best use of this set, they are probably old enough for standard sized LEGO. However, if you have younger children playing in the same area, having the larger pieces is safer. although the set is rated 3+, all of the pieces are large enough that I don't worry about choking. I have never had a child get the little yellow screws out, and I have had these pieces played with by multiple generations of children.

Best Lego Set Ever

This is a great set for a 5 year old. He has been constantly working with it and loves to play with the toys once they are built. I would like to see expansion sets for use with the screwdrivers.
