Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Got this for my kid as a Christmas present and it has been hours hours of fun! The little flashlight makes the marbles glow so it’s fun to use in the light or the dark! So many different ways to build it and it teaches basic physics too! Perfect for stem activities, building, etc. we combined the marble run and magnet block to create an amusement place for their action figures to enjoy!
Christmas present for our 8 year old.It has been so much fun for us all! Definitely a big hit, him and his sister has been playing with it all day!
My 8 year old son loves this set. Hours of entertainment. He says the pieces are very easy to connect and disconnect, and the pieces stay together well.
I'm an adult engineer who always wanted a toy like this and I received it for a gift. Two weeks of tinkering and I'm still overjoyed. I don't understand the bad reviews about "stability" or "sturdiness" - the whole point is to learn about physics! I envision an idea, attempt to build it up, make mistakes, learn lessons - build it better! How fun is that!!!?!? The marbles glow just fine when you shine them under regular lights or even better under the included little UV flashlight. I'm not sure what others were expecting, but this thing has blown my mind and I'm going to keep buying more kits so I can encompass my living room with massive designs (until my pets and my spouse start disrupting my brilliance).Update: after a year of consistent play - all parts are holding up very well and I continue to expand my masterpieces!
As an early childhood teacher and parent, I have had a lot of experience buying and playing with toys. My kids had a marble track when they were little and it was great. I have encountered others which were flimsy, didn't join smoothly, or were just not as good as the one I had for them. Fast forward 25 years to my grandson. He loved his dad's marble track, but it was a small set and I couldn't find it for sale after all these years. Then, I saw this track!!!!!! It is wonderful in so very many ways. Not only is it really, really cool with the glowing marbles, but it sets up easily, the track is smooth and none of the marbles get "stuck," and it is very sturdy. I am very, very impressed with this track. Well done, National Geographic!!!
