Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Wonderful toy for encouraging babies to sit up. His little hands don’t get stuck but he HS an opportunity to tinker. I accidentally ordered 2 and will be returning one, wishing I had someone to gift it too since I find it to be valuable in education! Arrived in 2 days!
It is very large and heavy, perfect for rolling and propping himself on. My boy is able to pick it up and turn it around with both hands. He's a strong boy though. His fingers fit just into the grooves between the posts that run up and down all around the outside of this toy. So he's able to grip it. His fingers don't get stuck or go inside though, so I have no concerns about that. The marbles will not fall out either. This is a very well-made toy and I've never seen one like it (huge and heavy) for a child. The sound is one that seems to be magnetic for him. Whenever someone picks it up and he hears it, his eyes and attention go to the toy. It's sturdy and big enough for him to lean on it when trying to crawl. (He is still working on learning to crawl, and this is encouraging for him.)This toy is expensive, but if you have the money, it is unique and won't fall apart. I didn't know why a kid would want to play with it, because it doesn't look like any other toy, so it took me awhile to decide to buy it. I am glad I purchased it, and it will look nice laying around the house in toy rotation with the other toys he loves,
I have always loved wood toys and this one is super fun. A little bigger then I imagined, but I didn't read the measurements. One year old plays with it constantly... Rolls it, Shakes it, Turns it, Throws it. :| Very heavy duty being made of wood and marbles. I am sure the kid recommends it as much as I do.. haha
Clear mirror image, not like a fun house mirror. Baby loves it!
This sounds like a rain stick only your baby can see the balls falling through as well as be stimulated by the sound of rain. I normally only have wooden toys for my child, and this toy as much as I loved it provided her with a few of her first realizations that wood is hard and hurts. She would pick it up to hear the balls and bring it to her face and bump her head. I don't take any stars away from the material since my preference is wood over plastics, but I just wanted to point out so that if you choose it (which I do recommend) to have the disclaimer to keep an eye on baby as they are beginning to play with this toy.
