Highlights
Once your children understand how this simply designed circuit system works, they will be putting together the various components of the Intelligent Electronics Track with a basic understanding of circuitry and electricity! This will allow them to construct amazing games, sounds, lights, and even their own gadgets. With an activity guide with detailed illustrations, there is little holding your budding engineers back from discovering their true potentials! Science is for all children, no matter how young.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
My kiddo got this for Xmas and by far is his favorite thing he got. He started off building the suggested things inside the book and then takes those a step further by adding or subtracting other parts to it to see what they do. He is a very big tinkerer and this just helps him tinker even more.
My nephew in 3rd grade loves it! At first he seemed bummed because a good amount of the projects are easy but he kept on trying them all. The he called me one day to tell me that he was able to hook up his mom۪s phone to it via bluetooth? Not sure what he means exactly but he was excited. This from a kid who loves technology and a good challenge, so to him it۪s probably more of a toy but it۪s better than another lego set.
This was a really good choice as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son. It is very interesting and educational. He stays interested in it for hours.
Exciting Experiments With Electronics That Can Be Safely Performed by An 8-10 Year Old. Documentation Could Be ImprovedThis offers a "Paint by Numbers" approach to building electronic circuits with labeled plugs and color-coded wires and connections> A reasonable Instruction Booklet suited to the target age cohort is provided. But the only understanding of what the circuit does is provided by a short 1-2 paragraph "What's going On" section with an illustration. This kit certainly wet's the appetite of a young scientist in performing Electronic Experiments, but its utility could be improved for growing with the kit by providing, without additional cost, more complete explanations of the theoryof how the system operates and additional experiments that could be performed with the same parts, or additional parts purchased online.
My daughter and I enjoyed his very much. I bought to be a learning toy for homeschool and it is. We made the doorbell together first and it was easy and simple concepts that she could understand at 8 years old. Very fun!
