Highlights
So many STEM toys allow children to learn about things like electronics and circuitry in straightforward ways, but the STEM Circuitry Zap Puzzle tries to bring fun into the mix. There are so many incredible ways to solve the various puzzles presented in this fun set of challenges. There will also be a lot of learning to do, as no one can solve these puzzles unless they have a solid grasp on circuitry. Be stealthy, and keep a steady hand going.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
this is an outstanding puzzle game that teaches basic electricity concepts. I work as a controls electrician for the automation industry, so I had to check it out and was not dissapointed. I have only done the first 20 so far , but was compelled to write this review in my support. The selector switch is very realistic and electricians in my field often struggle with wiring these correctly. Great real world training tool. Several reviewers have noted that sometimes one has to squeeze the board or pieces in order for the led(s) to light up, but that issue is minor and should not discourage one from purchasing. I also will toss the plastic piece holder and develop some other storage technique
Very basic logic needed. I work with my six-year-old and she gets it. Some of the more complicated puzzles are out of her realm, but it is fun to watch her get the lights lit up. Easy to explain if you use water flow as an example of how DC current works.Con:Some pieces require a bit of pressure to get them to make connectionsThe plastic form that holds the puzzle pieces really holds them. It takes a lot to get them out.Pro:Challenging puzzle that anyone can figure out with a little bit of trial an error.Teaches basic circuit and DC theory to kidsFunPirate Friendly (No more than one eye required)
One of THE best toys I‚Äôve ever purchased for my 8year old daughter. This is next level fun. If your kid loves (likes) challenging games and loves hitting their brain like mine lol, while having fun this is a MUST. We been having so much fun with this, it‚Äôs very simple yet it can be super challenging. Pieces are durability l, light and it‚Äôs a great brain challenge gain. We love it so much that I‚Äôm buying bunch more to gift to the future scientists and brainiacs üëç
My son received this for Christmas from his grandma and absolutely loves it. I decided to buy it for his friends birthday and it quickly became his favorite toy too. Hours of fun that also causes them to think.
So far this is totally engaging for all my kids ages 9-11. It is challenging but not too challenging for all and is great individually played or with others. I was a little hesitant at first in buying it but it is quality, keeps my kids coming back again and again and really uses their brain for strategy. The brand says a lot of course!
