Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
My 11 year old did this all by himself. Good quality and challenging, yet fun!
This is our favorite Lego set. One of our kids had a nice time putting it together, and it's just a lot of fun to watch. The details feel pretty authentic, and it's a nice physics demonstration. You should know that it *doesn't* come with a motor. We happened to have one from another set, but I was a little surprised, given the expense of this one. Watching it run without having to crank it is pleasurable. :)
I am not the Lego builder in the house, my husband is. I purchased this for him for Christmas has he mentioned it a year ago. He spent two days of his vacation working on it and when he completed it the look on his face the first time he ran it made it all worthwhile. I did purchase the accessory battery and motor kits but since it comes with a handcrank they arent required.
Lego did a great job with all the little details, including a lost baseball cap on the ground under the coaster. Well done!
Building this with my 10 year old daughter and both having a lot of fun doing it. Some parts (pillars) aren't that exciting but as it takes shape it is really cool and fun. Well detailed and complex enough not to be boring.... yet not a difficult build. Would recommend if you can afford the price tag. Trying to figure out how to display after we build because it is LARGE.
Our grandson absolutely loves this project. He completed it in two days time! We were impressed to see how he was able to attach his little motor to have it operate by itself. He waited several years for this gift on his 15th birthday. It was worth the wait!
