Such a great model to assemble requires that you take your time understand the instructions which are well written. Make sure to sand each part that so when you۪re done the projector will work flawlessly. This is a nice project for parents and children to assemble together I recommend this thoroughly along with the seller.
Smart design. Every peice is accurate enough to fit perfectly. Took me 6 hours.

Rokr Projector was a really nice model to assemble. Can't image putting it together in 5 hours I took my time and probably had at least double that time. Instructions are real good a person just needs to study the pictures and follow it very closely. Notice which direction pins are inserted etc. The laser cut pieces pop out fairly easy but there are tiny places after popping out that I sanded down easily with the provided sandpaper. There are extra pieces but they're not marked so care needs to be had. The lens area I pressed to hard to get pieces together and crushed the ring. Lucky for me this was a spare part. There were only three places ( look at close up photos on two) that need attention. The front door hinge needed lots of sanding down and waxed because it tend to jam into the frame easy fix. The door was cut to exact to fit but some slight sanding it down smaller fixed it easy. The other picture shows how the wheels off the crank rub the frame because of a slight wobble. This keeps the crank from turning smoothly. This is a spot where some wax preapplied while assembling would help a bunch. I was able to wiggle a little wax ( provided) in between there which helped greatly. Noticing the crookedness putting it together but wasn't able to correct it and just hoped for the best. This is an important area and tightens up later wax it. Another spot the big side door. Top hinge needed sanded down slightly and back of door panel at bottom hits rod. If you want this door to close properly those areas need sanded. Not a big deal. It would also be nice if a "tip" page would be included especially if this is your first Rokr. Here are a few 1) note movie films edge comes off on both edges while peeling protective film don't panic. 2) wooden tools also help push pins and metal rods into place as well as plastic donuts onto metal rods. 3) tweezers and fingernail sanding board would be handy. 4) if a part goes on hard or not all the way sand it down slightly lens assembly. You may not have any of these issues but if you like close to perfection as you can get maybe my review will help. Common sense take your time These are fun to do and I have already order another to assemble.
The media could not be loaded. Perfect pictoral instructions. Anticipated problem areas and supplied extra parts. Very precisely cut pieces. 9 yr. Old understood and helped with assembly. Asked for help with the film got a replacement in a few days. Turned out the part was OK afterall. Sorry. The thing actually works!
