Our kid walkie talkies toys can handle large areas of terrain- Up to 3 miles long transmitting range in open field and 0.5-1 mile range in residential area. It has a LCD Backlight Display which displays the 22 channels, CTCSS, the scan function, Voice Activation(VOX), volume, button lock and the battery status. Higher end kids walkie talkies often have the option for using an audio headset rather than the speaker. This is convenient when you want to wear your walkie talkie on your belt and not have to take it off to speak.
