Highlights
The Capture the Adventure Snap is a fun and compact digital camera that can handle all kinds of bumps and drops while kids adventure, play and get up to all sorts of incredible shenanigans. This is a camera that has a front-facing lens, as well as a rear-facing one, ideal for taking selfies. Then there are the five games included, for when kids just want to take it easy and relax, but three of them are motion controlled.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
I gifted my grandson with this camera on his fourth birthday. He was using my daughter's phone to take pictures so it was high time for him to have his own camera. After receiving it, I played with the camera some to learn about it (so I could show him how to use it) and to ensure it was of good quality. I was not disappointed in the least.
I think it's perfect. I am a photographer and I got this for my 3 year old boy. He handles it very well. He takes it every time we go out. It allows us to have a hobby together. The only down side is the wrist band to carry it while not using it. A shoulder strap or belt type strap would be way more logical for a child. Otherwise its awesome. Also love the fact that you can disable the games. Games on a camera doesnt even make sense.
I LOVE this camera. I bought this for my granddaughter to use. She is 4 years old and loves using mommy's camera. She will soon have a new baby brother and wanted something of her own. This takes clear pictures and is simple to use (even for ME) It requires 4 AA batteries, two in each side. Don't mix up the battery covers... They only fit on their correct sides. It has a double view finder she will look through like binoculars, so no squinting through a single site. It is appropriately sized for young hands, and while I'm sure it is breakable, it does seem sturdy.
Really love it for a kids first camera. You can go under parental controls and turn off the games which I think is great. I got it for a camera, not games :) Fits in your hands very nicely and feel strong. I would buy it again.
If it lasts a year or two it will be worth the money. Our 3 year old is always wanting to play around with our smartphone and take photos (and use up our memory). This little camera gives her the freedom to take her own pictures.
