Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
My husband got two of these for both my 7 year old son and our 7 year old foster daughter. They both love it. While my son is not into women's fashion, he actually uses this more then our daughter. He loves art, and because of this product has gotten really good at free hand drawing people (for a 7 year old). Plus, we print off other things he wants to draw, like city scrapes, dinosaurs, and space ships. I have gotten this product as gifts for two of my daughters friends and my niece. My niece, age 9, really seemed to like it, too. It is easy to travel with and fun for the kids to use.
My constantly drawing 11 yr old daughter loves this! I decided to get this a s Christmas gift because she was into tracing. I like that it's portable, seems durable so far, it's VERY bright, and perfect for her current tracing projects. I ordered the pink but got the blue, which I was secretly thrilled by because everything she owns is pink and ugh, enough already. So why didn't I just order the blue one? Because I was trying to please her with a gift, and not myself and my feminist sensibilities, lol, and I thought she'd get more use out of the templates - because the templates are different in the pink and blue versions. Turns out, she liked the templates fine, but wasn't overly interested in them. So, my point being, if I REALLY wanted PINK for for a really PINK girl, and I got blue instead, I would be annoyed. This is the third time in a short while that I have received the wrong version of something - just saying.
Terrific even bright light with traceable design sheets were great to encourage grandkids ages 6, 8, and 13 to draw. Magazine and printed pictures can also be used. Regular printer paper on top of images work well. The one thing that could make this better is the ability to plug it in to a wall socket. It instead runs on batteries.
The kids have fun using this to trace out art. It's nice to get them off the TV to do stuff with their hands. I highly recommend this.
if you have or know a little artist, this is the best gift ever. They will have hrs. of fun doing what they love best
