Highlights
My First STEM Lab is relatively straightforward, but don‰۪t mistake it as uninvolving! This is where budding scientists learn about STEM in a safe and inspiring way. There are plenty of scientific problems to solve here, and it won‰۪t be long before kids find themselves enchanted with the magic of science. There are plenty of detailed instruction and activity cards to make the most out of here.

Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Tip #1: Be sure to tape the base down to anchor itTip #2: Be sure the tubes are correctly assembled to prevent leaking. Follow my photos for help.
This has been one of the grandkids' favorite toy. They beg to play science. In fact I bought another set to add to this so they can all do science together. They love following the cards but making up their own science is their favorite thing to do. Durable and easy to clean. I bought a large storage tub to keep all the pieces clean and together. One of the best learning toys I have purchased.
I bought this for my 3.5 year old to get him interested in science, and I’m so glad I did. We both have so much fun with this kit and it keeps his interest for over an hour at a time. Yes, there is an issue with the stand tipping over so I have to hold it when he pours , I read another review on here that suggested a baking pan and adding magnets to the bottom of the stand to prevent tipping and I’m going to try that. Whatever you do don’t put the cards to close by when doing experiments, they are not water proof , I found this out the hard way when the stand tipped over and all the colored water went all over the place . Overall it’s a great set and we love it.
Durable and reusable. The equipment stands up to travel, abuse, and bath time with an 18 month and a four year old. Fantastic science activity cards provide a huge amount of experiments to complete. My four year old son loves it. He feels like a real scientist. Granted he won't be the next Walter "Heisenberg" White with this kit, it is still a good start to a lucrative chemistry career.
Huge hit with 4 year old.Just realize it requires adult assistance / there are cards that need to be read by an adult or someone who can read. You should have basic things like vinegar, eggs, baking soda, balloons, food coloring, etc. IT DOES NOT come with the basic ingredients but does come with really cool age-appropriate equipment.Recommended, very giftable. Make sure you have ingredients or your kid will be disappointed.
