The Hockey Champions Hand Athletes allows kids to become their favorite NHL stars as they control a set of tiny figurine hockey players to move a small puck across a sizeable tabletop hockey rink. Each player controls a rotatable goalie with one hand and an offensive player with the other. Players must then coordinate their team by balancing focus on the goalie and offensive player. The rules are the same as normal hockey, and the player with the most points, wins!

This is the cutest little hockey set. My 4-year-old loves playing hockey and can play alone or with friends. We have owned our set for at least 3 years and it has been a great purchase and well worth the money. Aside from some of the paint and decals wearing off due to heavy use, this has held up very well. If you buy this, I would order lots of extra pucks and lots of extra white rubber connectors (connects the stick with the release button mechanism for shooting). I'm so glad we bought this!

For the most part, it's decently built for the price. The screen to keep the pucks in the goal after a score are close to impossible for a kid to re-install once it gets pulled from its slots, which happens often while retrieving the puck. And as mentioned in other reviews, if you want the players to display a certain team's uniform you'll need to purchase new players. The team insignia in the kit are for decorating center ice.

Really great play set!

This makes quality kids toys and this ice hockey set is terrific. My 3 and 4 year old really enjoy it. It comes with two players and two goalies. The set features 'real action' play with score sliders at either end of the rink. I think if my kids take good care, this set will last a lifetime. I'm prepared to lose the pucks (it comes with 4) and I hope they sells these separately.

How many ways do we love these? Many! We own several playsets and all have been of great quality and the play value is second to none. Assembly is very easy and only takes a few minutes. Your set comes with four hockey players - 2 goalies that defend the net and 2 offensive linemen that actually shoot the puck. Your arena also comes with all the stickers for the various teams in the NHL so you can personalize your set. We also purchased the Zamboni which fits perfectly with this set. I came back today to order some referees and the Stanley Cup set!

My kids love this! it was much cheaper than in stores as well. Got it as a Christmas present for a 7 and 5 year old and they cant get enough. Came with 2 players, pucks, 2 goals, etc..
