Highlights
Math is best taught to young children in a fun and textile manner. These color-coded building blocks bring the most basic counting, addition, subtraction and shape and color recognition. There are also plenty of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination benefits which can be brought from the Foundational Math Code Building Blocks. This is just what your child needs to enter the mathematical and scientific world. The best part is just how simple and straightforward this learning tool is.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
This is a great product for little kids with building minds. My son loves these things so much that I've bought four different packages to let me him build bigger and better figures. From the outside, (to an adult) it doesn't look like much, but the applicability here is enormous. if you child loves to build, these are a great investment and cheap at the same time. We take them everywhere, in the car, to a store, to dinner. The options are countless. I've attached a picture, and from memory my son stated he was building Power Rangers Samurai, at five years old this is what he built. Try the product, it only costs $9.00 for the great potential.
The cubes are easy to link and easy to break apart. Some of the sets I've ordered (not from this site) have been very difficult to break apart.
My 3 year old likes sorting them and we are starting to count
I purchased these for educational purposes. Ten cubes of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, white, brown, and black are included. Each 1" cube has one protruding face that can connect to every other (inverted) side of other cubes with ease. The plastic quality is good, the pieces do not stick, but connect and disconnect with ease without being too difficult (an adult could unsnap two cubes with one hand). The corners are squared, but not too sharp to cause pain. Even when squeezing opposite corners of a block, it doesn't hurt, compared to others. After 3 months of use (4 days/wk), they're still like new (strength of holding power doesn't diminish). We store them in a gallon sized zip-lock bag. For $9, this deal is unbeatable. I wish I would have found them sooner.
The numberline didn't help my 5 year old solve simple equations. The ten-frame was too confusing for her. These cubes did the trick to hep her count on!Sturdy, good quality, and good colors.
