Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
I have been having trouble getting my five year old interested in learning to read even though he knows all of his letters and letter sounds and loves being read to. This is a fun way to introduce sight words. He loves "racing" to hit the word faster than myself or my husband. I can make it as hard to easy as it needs to be while he gets familiar with the words. We started with just a couple and have slowly added more. There are many words and they are color coded by difficulty level. All in all infinitely more fun than flash cards.
Great quality! My son enjoyed them. Different colors for different levels. They are 2-sided & you are given a good amount of words.
So far we are enjoying it. I play this effectively on single player with my son. Because he is so prone to just guess I quickly came up with the rule that he goes first but if he guesses I get the turn to swat. With each word we quickly talk about clues ton sounding out the word. Hes pretty excited about hitting the cards. I think I may include some kind of prize box for successfully beating me 10 times - just to keep it rewarding for him. We enjoy it and its built well.
My 4 year old loves this game because she gets to wack the flies. I love it because she۪s learning her words while also having fun.
I'm loving the overall quality of this product! There's 220 sight words. Up to third grade. This will definitely help build her reading skills. Retention and memory __The fly swatters are so cute and sturdy. My daughter giggled and laughed as she swatted the sight words on the fly cards. She loves it__As with other products from Learning resources I've purchased, 4 1/2 years ago still holding up. Definitely worth the money!
