Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
This is a name in its own space and time and that’s where you’ll be. In your own a pace and before you know it time went by as fast as it came because you’re trying it all over the place, from indoors and then outside.
I should’ve taken a picture because I sent these to the Grandkids in the Mainland and they were having a blast. It’s great to see who can control it better or even get the hang of it. Hello! These are kids! And they were in spot and having fun. We got yelled at once by their MOM, my daughter, for making a mess! Well we were kind of going to clean up afterwards. She’s like, get in here! Clean up this house before you think about going outside to play 😳 we told her we weren’t done but uh 🙄 we were now 🤪 it’s great to see kids minds ages 6, 9 & 10 playing and using their minds and skills to do things to challenge Sphere and themselves instead of stuck on the TV or ???? Thank you for a great experience of having fun with my Grandkids 🤣😂🤣 now, to handle MY daughter 🙇♀️🤞🙃 Lol
OK, so I have to confess I originally bought one of these for my son and it was just too much fun not to get one for myself as well. The bouncer mini mini balls are about the size of a ping-pong ball that you can control with your phone. It is fun to drive it around, race two of them, and crash them into one another or into other objects such as the included bowling pins.
One of our dog’s favorite toys. Pros: pretty long battery life, you can start it using the app even I’d you are pretty far away, works great on flat surfaces, you can change the LED color, is fun for us and the dog. Cons: the exterior shell snaps together (our dog can easily break it apart [I understand this was not designed as a dog toy, though]), you must remove the shell to charge it. The cons are minor, but if a rubber cover we're available, that would solve the problem of Lucy breaking it apart. I've seen the request from others who own this, too. Overall, a fun little robot.
While we did love the activity kit, it’s not necessary. My kids got one activity kit and one soccer kit. They share the contents of the activity kit. If you’re on the fence, you can just get the regular mini and use items around your house to make the obstacle courses. They’re fun, but not worth the price jump in my opinion.
Also, I recommend downloading the edu app first. The kids can actually code with it. The play app is fun but not for long. My kids got tired of it quickly but didn’t want to do the “work” of the coding once they saw the play app.
I am a big fan of this and I can honestly say that I had the most fun with this product. The mini games it provides in the app as well as the portability make this a fantastic toy for pass time. I bring it to my classes and when my professors are inevitably late I bring it out and pass the time.
