Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Going strong tumbling rocks we done 4 batches so far no stoping for about 3 months kids love it
My son loved it! He has used it multiple times and has created such lovely stones made a great Christmas gift for any age.
Good little kit - super easy to use, though it does take weeks to actually do the polishing, which I don't remember it indicating anywhere: polishing stones is far from instant! You need to order new packs of grit when you want to do another round of stones. It's fairly quiet while it's doing it's thing, especially if you can close a door on it.
I purchased this to make use of stained glass scraps. I just finished my first batch of scraps that I wanted to look like beach glass. It worked asoundingly well. I am so happy!
I'm a 5th/6th grade special education teacher and my students LOVED using the rock tumbler. It was so helpful in demonstrating weathering and they had something to take home at the end.The only word of caution I have is, it can be a little messy to take the rocks out. Nothing that stained but a little scrubbing required to get the grit out from under fingernails.
