This arrived in time. It was a Christmas gift for my daughter who's two. It took my husband and step son several hours (about 3 hours, not experienced with building kitchens). If building for Christmas morning like we did, I suggest doing what we did and doing it the days before just in case it took longer then expected. No problems with building it at all. No missing parts, no confusing, went smoothly. The kitchen came out adorable! Super cute. My daughter loved it and was a huge hit on Christmas morning. I would buy again. Happy customer.
My daughter plays with the little kitchen every day and shes only 15 month! She loves opening and closing all the doors. I wish the water faucet had bigger and more realistic knobs. Also be prepared to spend an hour or two putting this together. The directions are great but there are a LOT of parts. I had to do it in two sittings.
My son loves it, he's 3 1/2 and 42" so I was worried it might be to small, as you can see it's perfect! Don't procrastinate to build it!! I waited until Christmas Eve after his bedtime. Took me 4 hours! Easy instructions, thank you for that :)
My son (2) loves this play kitchen that we got him for Christmas. The only surprise was how many pieces were involved in assembly. My husband and I were able to put it together in about an hour but I would at least double that if you are assembling alone. The kitchen fits really well in our living room and I love that it's made from wood instead of plastic. The different cabinets/shelves are nice for storing the plates, utensils, and food that he got to go along with the kitchen.
This very cute little kitchen took me about 45 minutes to assemble (with the help of a 2 year old). The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to complete assembly. The screws came in their own package that was numbered on the back, a system that worked well for me and allowed me to find the screw needed with ease. All of the kitchen pieces were labeled with a small letter stickers to help ensure you grabbed the right board. You can move the arms on the clock and the knobs on the stove. The handle on the sink can me moved as well. The Microwave, Oven and cabinet all open and close. The burner guards on the stove are removable as well ass the sink. Not pictured on the side is a little hook for hanging a small plastic cell phone. The set also included a spatula and 3 spice jars. The package weighed about 31 pounds on delivery and the finished dimensions for the kitchen are 21.5"(L)x 11.625"(W)x38"(H).Having gotten all the important information out of the way, my son has had an absolute blast with this little kitchen. He has had just a great time opening and closing the Microwave, Oven and cupboard over and over and over again, as well as pulling out the little drawers on top. He loves the clicking sound the knobs on the stove make when he turns them and is fascinated with moving the arms on the clock. This is a very well made little play kitchen and I would highly recommend it for any aspiring chef. I was allowed to review this product at a discount in return for my honset review.
