DIY Garden Stepping Stone Set

Worked out good. Made a paper weight for a reminder of our doberman. Used it in the winter, next time if used under the same conditions, I will start with less water.

Loved this one! So easy to use & worked perfect for our garden stepping stones! And so affordable! Will definitely buy again.

These came out rather cute, but aren't fool proof. Add a little water at a time rather than just add the full amount. Also note, the amount is not in cups but in ml which can be confusing. Also, if you don't push the jewels in far enough, they do fall out quickly. This kit is very cheaply made, but it was fun for my 3 1/2 year old daughter to make as a present for her grandparents.

My kids loved these i can't wait to out them out in my garden.

I bought this stepping stone for my 4 year old. I was attracted to this particular item because it claimed to be for outdoor use and for the garden.What I really like:ۢlovely stones and colourful mosaic plastic pieces adds colour to the stone;ۢglitter adds a nice touch;ۢthe end product is lovely!What I didn۪t like so much:ۢthe plaster didn۪t set well - I had to keep removing water (despite following the instructions meticulously) by pouring out and dabbing. Eventually the plaster set and my son could use it;ۢthe plaster crumbled on the edges and seems fragile;ۢthe plaster does not appear to be suitable for outdoor use (or if it was used outdoors, it wouldn۪t withstand the elements, in my opinion).Overall, I really like the stepping stone. The process of making it is lots of fun, the accessories are colourful and more than sufficient. It engaged my 4 year old and the end product is great. I had hoped to put this in the garden, but alas it wasn۪t meant to be. It now sits proudly on display in house as a keepsake.I would definitely buy this again with the view to use it inside.Recommended!
