Highlights
The Tiny Adventurers STEM Microscope allows kids to enter the world of STEM like no other scientific apparatus. This is one kind of electronic tool which brings all your senses to the party when it comes to scientific discovery. Imagine being able to hear about what you are observing through a microscope This is exactly what we are trying to achieve with this product, a STEM education experience which guides children through the discovery process.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Ollie loved the microscope. Thank you Smart Kids Planet.
Pardon us to the max! You did deliver the microscope and slides on August 30th. It is a gift for my grandsons’s birthdays in October so I hid it. I hid it so well, I forgot we received it. Forgive my error and we will let you know how they like it.
My son (age 7) LOVES this toy. He has fun with the quizzes. The facts are great and go with the slide image. It would be cool of you could order extra/new slides. He zooms through them fast!
My nephew loved this so much! He's one of the smartest kids I've seen and could match all of his letters with letter sounds and a word beginning in the letter by 2 and a half. I got this microscope for his third birthday and it was such a hit! His mom sent me videos of him looking at the "blood cells" and "butterflies". It's so adorable! I bought another one for a different nephew for Christmas!
As others have mentioned, this is not really a microscope, it's a toy. That said, I thought it would be a great way to get my kids interested in science, since at ages 2 and 5 using a real microscope might be daunting (focusing, etc). I figured if they liked this and learned the process of the slides and looking through the eyepiece, that eventually we could "step up" to a real kid's microscope.I bought it for my son for Christmas and I wasn't sure how it would go over... but lo and behold- the kids are both fighting over playing with it constantly. They absolutely love it. The facts are interesting that Bindi recites, the little slide tray is easy for even my 2 year old to use, and my 5 year old enjoys taking the quizzes. He even tells me random interesting facts now and then I know he learned from the toy. So far it's a month after Christmas and they are still playing with it. I do wish more slides could be purchased for it, that's my only gripe.
