Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.

With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.

What a great idea! Love, love!

This thing is awesome! I bought it for my 6 year old who is in Kindergarten but the game is made for grades 3-5 (but would work for review with older kids). There are variations for younger folks but not many. My son has been able to play the easiest 3rd grade games so far. With some creativity and basic understanding of math, you could also easily make up your own games as well. There's a spinner and 6 different "boards" the spinner can go on to change the rules for the game. There are several pizzas made from cardboard with realistic pictures of pizza and fractions written on one side. I read one review that said "you cannot even put the pizzas back together after you've taken them apart".... Well, yeah, that's kind of the point. This is a fraction game and it's meant to be put back together temporarily not permanently! It is fun enough though, that the child doesn't know they're learning! The best way to make them learn--make it fun!

Cute game and nice way to teach fractions

Bought this for my fourth grader who was having some trouble grasping the concept of equivalent fractions. He loved this game and I actually thought it was pretty fun too. The pizza slices are really realistic looking. Don't try to play it before dinner - or it will make you hungry!

    Works great for after-school activity

I have successfully used it with 2nd through 4th graders in an after- school program. I have my students play it with the numbers faced downward. I like how it encourages students to make connections between the numeric symbols for fractions and how those relate to relative sizes of the pizzas. The student really enjoy playing the game.

A highly enjoyable and developmental game for 5/6+ year olds

My 5 year old and I absolutely love this game.

It not only offers a great learning experience, the visual interest created by the quality of each 'pie' is beautiful. The game is both engaging and easy to simply for smaller children who are just starting to learn mathematical concepts and excited to spin the wheel. Highly recommend for ages 5 and up (6+ year old kids may benefit more from it).

    A definite keeper.

An excellent way to play and have fun while learning fractions

Here's a fun and flexible way to learn fractions for kids of all ages. Who doesn't love pizza, right? Kids relate to it because pizza naturally uses fractions.

I appreciate a kid-friendly way to teach fractions that's not cake, pie or candy. I'm not a big fan of teaching or playing with desserts because somehow it always leads to the kids wanting candy - the power of suggestion?!

Seven game instructions are included, and the possibilities expand from there. When kids play these games, they build a concrete sense of how fractions are parts of a whole, fraction equivalents, addition and subtraction. Pizza naturally lends itself to word problems and everyday application, and there are several problem solving activities included.

The pieces are made of a sturdy cardboard and stand up to a good amount of kid use. This is a great way to play and have fun while teaching and reinforcing fractions!
