Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.

I got this as a gift for my 23 yr old son with severe autism. He is non-verbal but has completed college level Calculus 4 and is amazing at engineering and robotics projects. It took him a few days to put this robot together, working on it for a couple of hours a day. He loved the construction process and is having so much fun with the completed robot. It seems somewhat limited in what it can do so far. But my son is thrilled, so I am happy with this purchase.
This was a gift to my 10 year old son. He assembled it by himself with some help from his dad. He was ecstatic when everything was done. Hes still having fun asking him to dance and crack a joke.
Refreshing to find a product that is well done. The parts are well made durable plastic and the parts actually fit well together. The pictorial instruction guide is impressive. Some extra parts were included. There are 150 steps to get it together but I enjoyed it except for having some trouble holding the nuts in place. The package comes in a nice box with the parts well organized. I haven't downloaded the brain software yet but so far it has lived up what is advertised.
Meccanoid turned out to be a family project with our 13 year old son at the lead. Instructions were a little vague/tricky, but manageable. Took about 3 days of tinkering here and there to build, couple more days to tweak things. The fun continues as Meccanoid is so engaging, the kids love learning new things, getting hugs, hearing jokes, stories, playing games with him; but mostly programming him with their own ideas. Well definitely purchase another project like this soon!
We love Meccano or as we named him Mick! We really like its interactive features (he tells stories, jokes, plays games and a lot more), its impressive!
His size and abilities makes him the type of robot we always dreamed of building.
