Fairy Terrarium Lantern

I bought this unicorn lantern so that I could make it as present for my grandmother. It is was easy to assemble, but we did have to let it dry for about 48 hours. It took a long time to dry because the glue was thick in some places inside of the glass jar. When I assembled the finished product and turned on the light, it was even prettier than I expected.

My granddaughter was so excited on Christmas day she couldn't wait to get started putting it together , I should have bought a few it was a great hit , I will post pictures when I reorder !! Home run

Three of my granddaughters ages 3-5 all loved this project! They worked very excitedly on creating their little fairy lanterns and loved the choices of the cutouts, and I loved the lack of cleanup. They were very proud to show their crafting and it was fun for them at bedtime when lights went out. With winter and the grandkids at home during the pandemic, I try to keep them as busy as possible with activities, and this one was an easy, safe and no-mess win. Love that it comes two to a box.

Bought this for a gift for one of my daughters bests friends and she loved it. Loves unicorns and my daughter said this one was cuter than the other ones with the body silhouette. The jar is plastic too so perfect for travel. Maybe they can take it to our next camping trip.

I bought this as a craft activity for 3 yr. and 5 yr. girls. I had to help them put their lanterns together but it didn't take away from the excitement. They stayed engaged the entire time. Seriously. We put the lanterns together in September and they are still using them every night (as of December). You do have to wait for the glue to dry before you can proceed. We played with something else to occupy the time. No big deal. Also, make sure you have batteries on hand. My only improvement would be to have equal amounts of each color of ribbon.
