Undercover Kid Agent Pack

For the imagination of a 7yr old this kit sparked excitement waiting for its arrival. So much that part of the decoy checker box tore with the opening of the shipping envelope it arrived in by eager hands trying to get to the contents inside. Once opened there is a lot to get the brain wheels moving in action to assuming the full role of spy mode. The plastic container in the hidden compartment۝ of the checker box contained the spy glasses that have small mirror like pieces in the corner of each lense... my kid could not wait to put those on and yell out what everyone was doing behind her. I even put them on out of curiosity and amused myself how something so simple could be used as a fun tool to dive into an imaginary world or a simple prank. _ The next item she went for was the yoyo earbud. It does enhance the sound around you but the cord is not very long and makes it a little difficult to hide anywhere in the open and be a distance away. This also makes it difficult to maintain the appearance of it being a yo-yo but it didn۪t matter to my daughter. She found many opportunities to follow me and her dad around eavesdropping on conversations. The periscope was a little flimsy made of cardboard and was the primary reason of me taking this down a star. It was not little kid friendly to put together. The instructions say tape could help but I didn۪t have any available and after several failed attempts to get the tabs on the box to look like the picture in the booklet and getting the mirrors to stay in place left both my daughter and I over the significance this gadget would have in getting the full spy۝ experience. The book has so much to really get you in mission mode and makes the science behind it a fun engaging learning lesson all in the disguise of fun. I۪m sure as my daughter digs into each mission and learns the why and how behind each gadget I will get random spouts of her newfound knowledge. The price of the kit is reasonable for what you get included although I wonder if the pieces will survive a household with rambunctious little people and even just the normal usage of my daughters play out of it. Time will tell but I۪m sure for the next few weeks I۪m sure her and friends on the block will enjoy having actual items to carry out whatever missions they conjure up.

My daughter who is 8 loves this kit. Because it has this sneaky spy stuff to spy on people۝ 8 year old. It has kept her busy for hours a day. Black light seemed to made well but quit working after a few days.
