Highlights
The Rainbow Dino Mix and Match set is a very simple yet developmental activity which allows young toddlers to enhance their shape recognition, color identification, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The game is as simple as pulling apart 9 dinosaur toys into 18 pieces, which your children can then spend hours putting back together as they see fit. As enjoyable as it is playing with this set, the cognitive development occurring behind the scenes is essential.
Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
These cute dinosaurs (or "dinaroars" as my 2-year-old calls them) are great for matching games as well as just to play with as little critters--they often go for a ride in my son's train. I wish the two halves fitted up to each other more snugly so the tail wouldn't flip upside down when they're being played with as just dinosaurs, but they are easy enough for a toddler to pry apart and put together, which is really more important for this toy. They seem plenty sturdy, and are really great for use in core strengthening games. Put heads on one side, tails on the other side, sit toddler in the middle on a little box or upended bucket, and have him pick up a tail on one side, then come up and pick up a head on the other side, come up to put them together, then down in the middle to drop it back in the bucket. Works great!
My little boy loves this! Love that the dinosaurs come apart and you can mix and match them. He loves to play with the container and lid too. Great teaching tool!
My 2 year old LOVES these. Just fyi The "pattern matching" is trumped by the fact that they're all different colors so it's more like color matching. I honestly don't think he's even noticed the patterns on the dino backs. He loves to mix and match them and they're sturdy little toys that stand up to a particularly rough toddler :) i recommend them if you want an awesome toy for your dino loving child but not if you want him/her to develop pattern matching skills.
Great for learning! Our Little's love them!
My grandson absolutely loves his dinosaurs. At first they were a little hard for him to figure out and they were a little difficult to pull apart, etc. He got them for his 1st birthday And he has played with them off and on for a few months and now at 16 months he has mastered them. They are very easy to pull apart and he plays with them all the time. I’m so glad I bought these for him.
