Batman's Batmobile Building Kit

Got this as a birthday gift from my friends, apart from their obvious generosity, nothing can top this recreation of the iconic batmobile. The part count per dollar is great , the theme is great , the figures are necessary but are great , and the build itself is near perfect. If you are on the fence about this and have the money for it, I highly recommend purchasing as not only do you get an amazing build but a satisfying building process, the design team really outdid themselves.

Fantastic set, very detailed. Took over 12 hours to assemble.

Cons: There were a few steps that seemed out of order causing some difficulty, a few of the exterior details are kinda fragile, itd be cool if the gun covers were hinged instead of removable, and the mini figs are a smaller scale than the car.

Pros: Its huge, stands out in any room its displayed in, was a blast to put together, and the rotating stand is perfect.

Id love to see LEGO come out with official light kits. I installed one that just does the front and back lights, adds a lot to it.

Wow, just wow! This thing is incredible. I pulled the trigger on this as soon as it was in stock and yes it is expensive but I have not regretted spending on this one little bit. It is really big and represents the my favorite batmobile very nicely. Its crazy that this ticks so many boxes, its really fun and a little challenging to be build and then when you are done it is a really awesome showpiece! Cant recommend this enough.

This thing is a BEAST, in a good way. Added a light kit with a remote control and it has a built in speaker that plays the 1989 Batman theme. Im going to buy a low profile rotating base next.

In regards to the kit, 24 bags containing almost 3400 bricks, nice instruction book. It arrived missing bag #15 but LEGO was kind enough to send it out quickly, no questions asked. It arrived in a few days, way ahead of the time I needed it. I averaged assembling or going through 3 bags per day, taking my time, doing it right. Not recommended for kids under 16, for adults without patience, or anyone who hasnt yet built a large LEGO kit of 2000+ pieces. Practice on a smaller kit before attempting this one. Price was average compared to kits of this size.

This was a very fun, challenging build. Front wheels turn, machine guns rise and lower, cockpit slides open. and overall looks very cool. Much bigger than I thought it would be, measures about 18-inches long. Bigger than any other Lego vehicle out currently. The all black can make it difficult to find the pieces you need but it's worth it in the end because it looks so cool.
