Animal Focus Wild Telescope

This is a great first telescope for young kids. There is no way for any young child to handle high powered telescopes to view the planets and stars! The view scope would be way too small and the tiniest of movement would ruin the view. I know because I work with real telescopes and microscopes and even adults have a very hard time using them. The wide scope of view makes it appropriate for kids. The most exciting thing she witnessed were birds making a nest in a tree! We also have so many trees blooming, and we can see the lovely magnolia tree across the street. How cool is that! This is a day time viewing toy, not something to use at nighttime.

Our kiddo loves it. When we opened it, they thought the instructions were a book and made us read it, so maybe that helped, but we find it useful and fun for them. A few things to know/note: It isn't designed for adult eyes, as the pamphlet says, so as an adult you can only see out one eye at a time, not both. The other thing is the magnification is larger than you may think, so you might be seeing something really close up and not recognizing it at all (this happened when we tried inside the house, we were looking at the wall but couldn't figure that out, so when we adjusted and looked further away, the trees outside, it was clearly the trees out of the window), so there is a bit of a learning curve (it took us about 15 minutes with a patient toddler) to help them figure out but once we got it and explained it to them, it's been a great and durable purchase (they're patient, not careful). We look at the birds, the clouds, and the moon when we can. I'd recommend it!

This is the perfect telescope for preschoolers. My 3.5 and 5 year old both like to look at the moon and I knew they would love to look at it closer with a telescope so I’m so glad I found this one that is perfect for little hands. They love using this telescope to also look at other things in the sky closer. I love that they are able to explore and learn with this neat science tool. Such a cute telescope for preschoolers!

This is a great starter telescope for your little one. My girls absolutely love this toy and have been fighting over being able to use it. Fun for my 3, 5 and 8yo. They drag it around our house, take it outside and enjoy the experience of observing pretty much anything they can. We haven’t used it during the night yet but the learning and discovery experience has especially been fun for our preschooler.

My son is so excited to get this!
