Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Educational Insights is a rock solid name in children's educational toys, and we have quite a number of them. From Hot Dots to Design & Drill to the fun plush Mixaroo, Educational Insights toys are winners. Artie Max is no exception.
This coding toy is fantastic combining your child's interests in coding, art, and frankly just having a cute little robot to do their biding.
Easy to set up. Easy to use.
Artie is actually slightly larger than expected. Everything is very well made and thought out. You will have access to tutorials and demos, and the Guide is as clearly written and easy to follow as any I've ever seen.
You can code in five languages plus Artie's own. I would have liked to have seen the Guide go deeper on the languages, but I assume that will all fall into place as we work our way through the options.
Got this as a gift for my 11-year nephew, but his 5-year old brother found it equally attractive, and is the first to press "run" after each program change. Happy to see the brothers working and playing together on Artie! Thanks for a creative, educational toy!
Great value. My nephew really loves this. He is 9 and it was challenging enough to keep him engaged for a long time. Well made and durable and a great learning tool
Great gift for my seven year old. Sparks his creativity.
Great introduction to coding with more than just the little apps he's played in the past. Kinda pricey though, so that is something to take into consideration.
