Festive Disney Christmas Train Set with Remote & Bluetooth

We have several O gauge trains, and we like them all. We have one really nice set, and a couple of less expensive sets. All of the sets run on FasTrack, which means that the tracks are all interchangeable.This particular set includes a steam engine that can produce smoke, a caboose, a box car, a gondola, and a coal tender. The engine is a simple 0-8-0 steam engine that receives its power from the tracks. The set also includes 10 pieces of track to make an oval. The speed of this train is reasonably fast, and the train will stay on the tracks at full speed, which means the design is generally child friendly.This set includes sound. There is a whistle, a bell for coming into the station, and Mickey making announcements. The only problem with the announcements is that they get to be a bit repetitive.Admittedly, this set is a big gimmicky because of the Christmas theme. While themed sets are fun, they are probably not what a serious collector would prefer to have for a model railroad layout.As Lionel sets go, this one is priced comparable to other Lionel sets, which means that the value of this set is about average.Our overall rating is five stars. We are generally big fans of Lionel sets. While we prefer the historic sets over the themed sets, a well-built train set is a joy to operate. The magic is in the FasTrack, which assembles far more securely than Lionel track of old. FasTrack can be a bit challenging to snap together, but once together, derailments seem to be a thing of the past. The Christmas theme could be great for children or as a Christmas tree accessory.Enjoy!

This thing is great, my son will play with it for hours. I bought the extra straight tracks (4) with it and it fits around the tree skirt (48”) perfectly. Very happy with the purchase. The steam feature is pretty cool as well.

I've wanted a Christmas Train for a tree since I was a child, this Lionel Train set has The Christmas look I have always wanted, red with Christmas trees and presents. What I recieved was far greater than I expected and the QUALITY I received was OUTSTANDING! A Awesome purchase.

I am 58 and have always wanted a train to put under my Christmas Tree. This was finally the year. It was very easy to put together and set up, lots of options on the set up, the perfect size for putting under a tree, and absolutely looks incredible. This will be around for many many Christmas mornings. I love it!

Arrived in great condition. Colors are definitely bright and vibrant. Love the controller. The kids have a lot of fun with it. We turned off the smoke it’s a little intense smell for the kids. It is a louder when you have it at higher speeds. Train set is louder than your basic kids train toys so keep that in mind. Definitely would recommend 👍
