Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.

We LOVED this kit. I got this for my son for his 6th birthday, and he also received another dinosaur dig kit which had 12 "egg"s in it, with little toy dinosaurs inside. I thought because he had so much fun with the others that he wouldn't appreciate this one. He LOVED this. The fact that he was digging up Dino bone, a tooth, and POOP!!! He was so excited. He keeps the 3 fossils in a baggie with the magnifying glass and pretends to teach science class to his sister.
My 7 year old son loved this gift. It stole the show at christmas. Only negative is that the material that encases the fossils is a little difficult for children to break. Solution: use a small hammer to hit the material gently and break into chunks. Even this issue couldnt dampen the excitement. Worth the purchase 5 times over.
Got this for my 7 year old grandson and he loved it!!! He found the three fossils in about 15 minutes and announced each find loudly. When I started to leave, he ran to me and hugged me, making it a great day!!!!
Got this for my dinosaur-obsessed four year old for Christmas. He loved it. We've had several dig bricks before with little plastic dinosaur skeletons in them, but he was more excited about this one because it had real fossils in it. After he got them out, he asked if he was an official paleontologist because he dug up genuine fossils. The tooth, coprolite, and bone are very nice and now he wants to make a display case for them. The material composition of the brick itself was age appropriate and the provided tools were sufficient to get the fossils out of it. He accomplished it in about an hour total with a minor amount of help from parents... unlike pretty much every other dig material for all the other kits we've had (some of the other kits, like the Smithsonian T-Rex model, had to be submerged in water and/or hit with a hammer to become excavatable). Overall, great gift especially for the price! We'll be getting more of these NatGeo dig bricks in the future.
I bought this as a 7th birthday present for a young dino-crazy future paleontologist. It was an enormous success! He immediately set to work and patiently dug out the three specimens with the tools provided. I'd estimate it took a couple of hours over all. Softening it with little squirts water helped a lot. He was fascinated by the process and thrilled with the genuine fossils that he has now.
