Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.

With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.

My 9-year-old and I built this together this morning. She did most of the work, while I did most ...

My kid (he's 8 now) loved it last year when he got this as a Christmas present. It's 13 bucks; if you're wanting something more extravagant, you won't get it for 13 bucks. But, this thing is neat and it moves and my boy felt successful in building it and it didn't cause us a lot of frustration and intense time to build.

Fun toy - bad assembly

While this is a cool toy, assembly is a bit of a problem. It was definitely not something my 8 year old grandson could put together on his own. It has many small screws and it's hard for little kids to get them in the right places and lined up properly.

So cute to see this thing wobbling across the floor

Of course, my creative son says, "Mom, it's not CUTE. It's awesome."

But honestly, this robot is just darling -- adding eyes to the form gives it a little personality.

Well worth the price we paid.

My 9-year-old and I built this together this morning. She did most of the work, while I did most of the reading and showed her how to identify parts using the diagram. Frankly, I felt a tad overwhelmed when she first opened the instructions, so I said we might have to wait for Dad to come help. Then my younger son said Yeah, youre probably going to have to wait for dad to build something like that, to which I replied No, we can do it, we just need to take it step by step.

Fun and Cute

I wasn't sure about this, but it ended up being perfect for a 9 year-old. It was easy to put together - I should say the level of challenge was appropriate. It is a cute finished product. Know that the straws for arms are longer than pictured, but you can cut 'em with scissors.
