Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
I sent these to a family sheltering during Covid who were running out of interest in the games they usually play: they were a big hit! Their parents liked the fact that there was some educational value to the games ( the youngest is eager to take his turn "calling" the words, and his mom says he is learning and making sure he knows new words). I bought two sets, as the kids are different ages, and suggested she could use different cards during the same game (since its all for family fun) to keep the older one's interest, but so far, not even necessary, they just have fun, I can;t comment on the sturdiness, as I haven't played with the sets.
My 4yo asks to play almost every day, and it has become a favorite family activity (the older kids gamely go along with it, even!).The only remark I would add is that the tokens are very thin paperboard, which probably won۪t stand up to rigorous use (like in a classroom). The game boards themselves are fine, but I would suggest that a teacher plan to use alternative tokens instead.
I highly recommend this word bingo. I finally got my five-year-old to like to recognize her sight words. it is amazing, I'm going to buy an additional one to give to her teacher great way for kids to learn their sight words.
I ordered this game to help my son who was having issues remembering his sight words. He was doing really well at home but not testing well. So I bought this game and spent extra time with him and his next reading test he got 100%! It really is great because he's excited to play the game and doesn't even realize it's helping him learn.
This was a great gift. Learning and playing at the same time. Not to memory learning how NOT to be a sore loser! This is a great family game. My 6 year old great niece loves it. Good quality and even after months of use it۪s still in good shape.
