Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
Im 50, not athletic, never skated or ridden a skateboard but I had no problems learning how to ride the Ninebot. The learning mode is a little bit annoying because the scooter tries to lean backwards if you try to go too fast. However, once you learn and unlock the unlimited mode, it is super fun to ride and very comfortable. I am at the weight limit of the machine and it has no trouble getting me up to 10 mph. The battery pack is UL listed so I feel more comfortable with the safety of the machine.
I got this for my daughter when it was deeply discounted on prime day because she's been asking for a hoverboard. When I tried it out I immediately wanted my own. I was able to ride this thing to my post office, then to the grocery store, and then the adult-beverage store before heading home....All about 5 miles with hills, and it used half the battery. I'm 5'11, 175lbs. After that, I decided to get a couple more. Today my wife, daughter and I were able to go for quite a long trip to get food, then ice cream, and then to play at the park before ridding home. We absolutely love these!!!!
I have a minipro that I use around my 10 acres for doing chores. It would take 3 times longer if I had to walk between greenhouses across the property. I put offroad tires on it and almost a 1000 miles later is still going. I decided to buy the ninebot s because it was on sale. I also put offroad tires on it and upgraded the control board so it doesn't lean back and beep constantly. it now goes 17 mph according to my speedometer app. These things are a beast. They hold up well to abuse. Well worth the money.
Recently bought this one to commute the last mile. It was very easy to learn. very stable. Very cool to ride.
I even use it to walk my dog. It is so stable even when my 20-lbs dog is pulling me, when he smells something along the road.
I am using this for every day between home and work about 1-mile distance for two months now. It is a very high quality of the serious personal mobile device. Learning is so easy and most people can ride it within one hour practice from my experience to my friends and families. Mini Pro model has a retractable handle for moving around and this one does not. That is the only one con for this S model. It can run about 11-12 miles/one charge. More than enough for going work but I wish battery capacity is more for off-day.
