Information
Our SmartKidsPlanet initiative began in 2017 when 3 geeky and dedicated parents saw a gap in the children’s toys and games market. An opportunity was spotted while we struggled to find toys and games for our kids which enriched their minds and guided them toward science, art, math and construction. The trio then knew that their paths were set, establishing an online shop with a comprehensive range of intelligent toys for babies, children and young teenagers.
With offices based in California, our SmartKidsPlanet team enjoys a daily growth in our presence within the children’s educational toys market. We love our new place in life, and we love helping young minds with their growth and skill development, all while having as much fun as possible.
I bought this for my 8 yr old Grandson who was staying with me for a couple days during the summer and since we were in lock down and could not go anywhere I ordered this. He is very smart and I wanted to challenge him. He was very smug at first because the first few were very easy. Bwahahha they keep getting harder and harder. I dont remember how many he got through but he really enjoyed playing with it and takes it out frequently when he comes over. Nice change of pace from video games.
The concept is simple. Pick a card based on difficulty. Set up the board using the diagram on the card. Each block has black dots on the ends to dictate direction. Once set up it is up to the player to figure out how to get the marble from the start to the red finish block.
The card has a solution on the back. This is by no means the only solution. The card also shows on the front the color and orientation of the blocks they use for the solution on the back.
For Christmas we spent at least two hours taking turns. The younger kids (6-10) picked the beginners cards. Teens and adults picked the higher difficulty cards.
Great game but once a person figures out the basics the solutions/patterns become fairly easy to spot. They also make a laser maze which is also a lot of fun but even easier to figure out. This is a step up since the laser maze is 2D and this is 3D. The more challenging levels are not radically more challenging, however.
Kids love it and I am happy they are digging an educational game (just don't tell them that ;-)
All-in-all a very good game and happy with the purchase.
Circuit Maze is a fun game that teaches grownups and kids about circuits and electricity without the danger of being electrocuted. The goal is to use a specific number of pieces to create a working circuit. When you get it right, the light turns on.Parents and kids will have a good time bonding as they play. Each level gets harder, so while it's easy to setup and start, it will offer hours of puzzling. That's to be expected, considering puzzle guru Wei Hwa Huang was consulted. If you're familiar with ThinkFun's games, you'll find this equally enjoyable. And if you're not, trust me, it will be the perfect addition to your game shelf.
My soon to be 12 year old granddaughter with ADHD. Played with this for over two hours. She did all 60 cards and then started experimenting. She is highly intelligent. We couldn't believe how long she stuck with it. I highly recommend this game. I asked if she wanted to leave it at our house, but she wanted to take it with her.
